Bus&Coach factory FAS“11 Oktomvri”–Shareholding company–Skopje, was established in 1946 as a manufacturing and repairing Bus Company. It has been developing independently since 1968 when the complex association FAP -FAMOS-Belgrade.

For the period between year 1968 and 1971 FAP-FAMOS signed with the company “Mercedes” from Germany a license contact for implementation of part of its manufacturing program. This allowed the factory to use Mercedes Benz’ experience of manufacturing and technology. A bus was constructed named “SANOS” signifying a self supporting construction i.e. the factory became capable of producing bars for its own buses.

Since the break up of SFRJ, which meant break up of complex association too, our factory has been exist and operate independently.
